Why you need a Phoenix Suns live stream

I do not need to stress the reasons why Steve Nash is awarded as the All-time 9th greatest point guard in the NBA. Born as Steven John Nash, he did not start of as a basketball player. As a kid, he grew up playing ice hockey and soccer with his childhood friends in Canada. Basketball didn't occur to him until he saw how Isaiah Thomas played on TV: it was then when he went up straight to his mother and said, "I will play in the NBA". His mother simply laughed.

Fast forward to his college career, Steve was not a phenomenal high school player like most of his NBA colleagues. In fact, there was no coach who recruited him until Santa Clara coach Dick Davey got a video of his highlight reel and immediately recruited Nash to be the team's point guard. Nash went on to lead the Broncos to two West Coast Conference finals and was awared as the first Santa Clara student-athlete to have his jersey number (#11) retired. He then got drafted with the Phoenix Suns.

Nash was unnoticeable at first, which is why he was only a supporting guard to back up the big name point guards of the Phoenix Suns during that time: Sam Cassel, Kevin Johnson, and Jason Kidd. Though Nash showed improvement during his second season, he was still seldom used and asked his friend Donnie Nelson, who was the Dallas Mavericks' assistant coach, to get him to play for Dallas. Soon, Nash found himself being traded to Dallas and it was there where he flourished and emerged as an All-Star point guard alongside Dirk Nowitzki.

Nash wanted to prolong his career with the Mavericks, but a bigger offer with the Suns is simply hard to resist. Nash was then traded, despite establishing himself already as one of the faces of the Dallas franchise, and became the leader of the Phoenix Suns who was suffering from a bad season. With Nash operating at the point, the Suns' immediately improved its standings, and were once again present in the playoffs after a long time. He simply turned the team around and was responsible for the career-highs of his teammates. With him leading in scoring and assists, Nash was awarded as the league's MVP two years in a row and gained respect from younger stars in the league.

To date, Nash is still the effective point guard that he is, dishing out double doubles and shows leadership in the court like a true All-Star would do. Though he and the Suns were so close in beating the Lakers in 2010's playoff finals, everyone knows that he will again lead the Suns into trying again. With all his accomplishments in his career, only one thing is left of him to have: a championship ring.
