Why you should watch Toronto Raptors online

The Toronto Raptors are not only my favorite in the NBA but also one of my favorite franchises in all sports. I have been able to watch a majority of their games live and have yet to miss one that was shown on TV. Though the team may not be one of the teams that people think about when they think about the NBA, it certainly is still one of the most exciting teams in the league. Every game in Air Canada Centre will surely bring some of the best highlights in the league.

Though the 2010 was one of the worst of recent history, the team was simply in rebuilding mode. After drafting Demar Derozan, he was immediately put in a position that not too many rookies can handle. The high flying guard forward from USC certainly came in with a bunch of talent but had trouble with a lack of talent on the team. Though Leandro Barbosa and Jose Calderon were able to still give the team a little push, it simply just was not enough to get the Raptors anywhere in the league. One of the most memorable moments of the season just might have been during All Star weekend when the Derozan made it to the first ever NBA dunk off and being able to be in the dunk contest.

The season was certainly very disappointing if you look at the 22-60 record but the games were certainly still very entertaining to watch. The team certainly was getting better throughout the year and the Raptors are just trying to get used to Jay Triano's system and hopefully Derozan will continue to be one of the best young players in the league today. If the lockout ends soon, the Raptors are looking to really improve by next season.
