Growing up in New York certainly made it hard for me as a big sports fan. Whether it was choosing between the Mets and the Yankees or the Giants and the Jets, I was always in between while I was growing up. Finally in high school, I watched my first Giants game and I knew right then and there that this was my team. I continue to watch them every year and to this day I still enjoy watching them on Sundays. Though they had a 10-6 record last season, it was still a fairly successful season for the New York Giants.

The Giants started the season out fairly hot as they beat the Panthers 31-18 and Eli Manning certainly had a great game but the injury of Kevin Boss had some fans worrying. When they lost the next week against the Colts, Giants fans were really curious as to how the season would play out. Losing another game to the Titans had the Giants at 1-2 and head coach Tom Coughlin knew that they had to really change things around. The Giants then won 5 straight against 5 very good teams before falling to the Cowboys.

Though the Giants did not make it to the playoffs, it certainly was not a bad season for the organization. Though they finished second in the NFC east, they were still able to send Shaun O'Hara, Zak DeOssie, Antel Rolle, Chris Snee and Justin Tuck to the pro bowl. After the Giants fired defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan after the defense simply was not performing at their potential. The 2010 season was certainly a very up and down season but for the most part most Giants fans were impressed by some of the team's wins. The team is young and hungry and will certainly try to redeem themselves in the future.
