Why you need Dallas Stars streaming

David about his life with the Dallas Stars:

Growing up in Dallas has really made it easy for me to be a sports fan. Most people will know about the Cowboys and the Mavericks but it seems like the Dallas Stars tend to be overlooked as a legit team in the area. I have been a Stars fan for quite some time now and I will honestly say that they are my favorite team in Dallas. I have been able to watch almost all of their games and they were certainly the team to watch in the 90's.

The Dallas Stars entered the league in 1993 from Minnesota and they were able to win their first game of the season against the Detroit Red Wings. The Stars were not very known and so the league was really unaware of how good the team really was. However, after they started to do well, the NHL really saw that the team had something to offer. With Mike Modano leading the way with 50 goals, it was certainly a year to remember for Dallas fans as it was the first year of hockey for us fans. They were then able to qualify for the playoffs in 1994 with 42 wins.

The team then started to get ready for a championship run in 1995 when the team was able to put together a group of guys that were really focused on winning. The team would often lose in the first and second rounds of the playoffs and it was tough to go through every year. However, the year came in 1998 where the team just seemed to click on all cylinders. This was the first Stanley Cup appearance by the Dallas Stars and they certainly did not let the opportunity go as they were able to win the Stanley Cup and bring home a championship for all of their fans.
